MARCH
-
10:00am – 12:30pm
You will need:
Any yarn with the appropriate hook size – the thicker the yarn, the bigger the stitches. Complete beginners may want to work with aran or chunky weight yarn
Stitch markers
Suitable for beginners or those who have maybe crocheted a long time ago and need a refresher session. Ideal for those who wish to learn the basics and crocheting to and fro. We will learn how to make a chain and then learn some of the basic crochet stitches upon which most other stitches are based.
£37.50
APRIL
-
10:00am – 12:30pm
You will need:
Any yarn with the appropriate hook size – variegated yarn works well for C2C. Thicker yarn such as Aran weight works well for blankets and grows faster.
Stitch markers
We will start by making a small square so you learn how to start and finish C2C. You will then be able to start a bigger project such as a cushion cover or blanket and be able to complete this at home.
Suitable for those who have maybe crocheted a while ago but would like to learn a new technique rather than working in squares or rounds
£37.50
MAY
-
10:00am - 12:30pm
You will need:
Yarn and a hook half a size smaller than the weight. This will give rigidity to the sides of the basket (e.g., if you use double knit yarn, then a 3.5mm hook)
Stitch markers
We will be crocheting in the round for the base. You will also learn how to increase the size of the base. We will then crochet the sides of the basket.
Suitable for those who have done some basic crochet before, not absolute beginners.
